    I always watched boxing with my dad when I was young and I just fell in love with the sport.

    What would be your ideal legacy to leave in the ring?

    To be one of the greatest fighters coming out of Philadelphia, one of the greatest Latino fighters ever.

    If you could fight any other fighter from era who would it be and why?

    I never thought about that! I'm not sure, I'm not a matchmaker!

    Who are some of your favorite fighters of all time ?

    Some of my favorite fighters are Trinidad, De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto. Fighters like that.

    What's your training regimen like?

    I wake up, I go running in the morning, go to the gym in the afternoon and after the gym I do physical training.

    What have you focused on most in your training camp, in preparation for Amir?

    A lot of strength, a lot of conditioning. I know I have the speed, I know I have the power. We just gotta be ready for 12 rounds of war.

    How did it feel to defeat a legend like Erik “El Terrible” Morales?

    It felt great just beating a guy like that. It boosted my confidence and gave me the opportunity for this fight.

    Who have been your sparring partners for this fight?

    I had a few but I never asked them their names. They just came to the gym and sparred and left!

    Who was your inspiration as a kid? What advice would you give to up and coming Boxers? Do you want to be in the sport for a long period?

    My inspiration was my dad and he always told me what to do. As a kid, I always listened to my coach and dad. I never let anyone tell me I couldn't do it. If you stay focused anything is possible.

    In what round will you finish him?

    I'm predicting either from the first round or the fourth round...it's going to be an early KO!

    Do you plan on outboxing Amir or using the blueprint Lamont Peterson used and just trying to over power Amir ?

    I feel like I can beat him from the outside or pressure him. I'm just going to mix it up and use both of those game plans. Either counter him from the outside or put pressure on him.

    What is your favorite kind of car?

    My favorite kind of cars are Cameros, Maseratis and Porches.

    How will u defend against all the low blows he commits to? (look back to Judah fight)

    If he's going to get dirty then I'm going to get dirty with him. He either keeps it clean or we're going to get dirty.

    What do you feel is Amir Khan's biggest weapon in the ring? And how have you prepared to neutralize that threat?

    Maybe his biggest weapon is his size and speed but we've trained really hard for a tough fight. We have a great gameplan to beat whatever he does.

    At what age did you begin boxing and has your father been your only trainer?

    I started boxing at 10 years old and yes he's been my only trainer.

    after you win this fight, do you think that it will open the door for bigger fights, and if so who would you like to face

    Most definitely this fight is a big fight, I'm not looking past it. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a big fight but I'm not looking past Saturday right now.

    Do you listen to music to get amped up before a fight? If so, what do you listen to ?

    I need music to jog and work out. For a fight I don't listen to music but during workout it's usually rap music: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Meek Mills, people like that.

    Danny, thank you for your time. How do you plan on countering Khans Straight combos and Fast handspeed?

    Timing beats speed any day with a good jab. With timing I'll come in with the straight punches.

    we have alot of the same favorite fighters in common, but u are on my list as well. Are u looking to move weight classes, to fight others?

    Most definitely. After this fight, it's a big 140lb fight, a crowning division. After this fight I'll talk to my manager, see what he wants to do but after this fight I want to move up in weight and conquer 147.

    R u nervous for your fight against khan?

    I'm really anxious. I'm ready to fight. I had a long camp and I'm just anxious to fight.

    Your father has been in the spotlight lately, do you feel like he has put any extra pressure on you to perform in the ring?

    He's just an openly spoken person. We're all having fun with it and that's what we do. He does the talking and I back it up with my hands!

    When in training camp what sort of diet are you on? How many meals a day do you normally eat during camp

    I usually eat about 3 small meals day to maintain my weight to keep me strong and keep me going.

    are you looking for the knockout? or you just gonna do ya thing and if the knockout comes it comes

    I always look for the KO. I always like to land silent punches early but whatever happens, happens.

    what do u think about the judges in boxing now and theyre decisions

    I let the judges do their job. My job is to fight and give the fans a great fight. That's what it's all about.

    Which fighters would you like to see in the ring?

    I'm not looking past Saturday. All I see is Khan this Saturday and that's what I'm going to focus on.

    Danny how are you going to deal with khan speed and do you think you can outbox him?

    Danny Garcia says:

    Yeah i think I definitely can outbox him. He reaches a lot with his shots and that will open him up. I'm just going to keep those jabs coming.

    Are you going to attack his body similar to the way Lamont Peterson did?

    Most definitely, that's kind of my style anyway. I like going for the body a lot no matter what. It's a good way to throw your opponent down. We're definitely going to attack his body.

    Amir says he's not so much worried about your punching power as much as he's wondering if you can take a punch. What do you say to that?

    I'm pretty sure I can take a punch. He's been knocked out before now me. I took bigger shots with Kendall Holt who's a bigger puncher than him.

    Yu became one of my favorite boxers since the first time i saw yu fight.What can you tell the amateur boxers like me that are in this sport?

    Listen to your coach, work hard and get the most amateur experience before you turn pro. Try to get a lot of international experience and win national championships too. Always follow your dreams.

    Great moment after the morales fight when u thanked ur dad for being with u on the road to being champ. Any other influences in ur career?

    My family, they're my influence. My dad pushes me but my whole family keeps me motivated.

    How does it feel representing Philly on the world stage?

    It feels great, man. Philly is a fighting town, there are a lot of great legends. I'm proud to be a part of Philadelphia and they're fighting history.

    Yeah I run every single day.

    Khan doesnt have alot of natural power, will you open up early on him, or are you going to test your counterpunching?

    I'm going send out some good solid counter shots. If I feel like he's not strong early, I'll start using all my jabs and sending out all my shots early.
